Soon we will introduce you to the crew...

On Pacific Jewel there are many crew members whose responsibilities range from navigating the ship to creating the day’s activities plan.

We’re just finalising these details. Visit again soon for the latest updates.

Let's welcome Pacific Jewel!

Celebrate with us!

Mark Saturday, December 12 in your diary and join us for a spectacular public party to launch Pacific Jewel.

The launch of our latest superliner is definitely going to be a night to remember. Come down to Sydney’s Circular Quay to join us and see a stunning fireworks display and a great line-up of family entertainment.

Circular Quay makes a wonderful venue for this fantastic summer event and as it’s getting near to Christmas, the theme for the evening will be a Pacific-Style Christmas Party. There will be face painting for the kids and the opportunity to have their photograph taken with Santa. There will also be gourmet food stalls, performances by a chart-topping Australian performer, and breathtaking aerial circus displays.

A highlight of the evening will be the naming of the ship by Pacific Jewel’s Godmother, Governor General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC.

Don't forget to keep up-to-date with the Pacific Jewel's re-furb in drydock by visiting the blog or follow us on Twitter.

Transport options

We’re expecting a large crowd, so consider leaving your car at home and arriving early to secure the best vantage point around the foreshore. If you have access to a railway station, the train is a convenient transport option - simply disembark at Wynyard station or Circular Quay. There are also several bus services that terminate near Circular Quay. Or, what better way to venture to a cruise ship launch than on a Sydney ferry? You’ll have an excellent view of Pacific Jewel as you sail into Circular Quay.
