Our ships
P&O Cruises Australia has been taking Australians on cruise holidays since 1932, when its 22,500-ton liner Strathaird sailed from Sydney on a five-night, round-trip cruise to Norfolk Island and Brisbane.
P&O Cruises now carries more than 100,000 passengers annually on scores of voyages to destinations throughout the SouthPacific.
We offer 2 ships sailing from Australia/New Zealand, the Pacific Dawn and the Pacific Sun, in addition to our worldwide fleet of luxury cruiseliners.
2010 will see the addition of the Pacific Jewel and Pacific Pearl.
Pacific Dawn
Australia’s first superliner and currently sailing from Sydney, the Pacific Dawn offers the unique Your Choice Cruising. With more choice in berths and Australia’s most affordable balcony cabins, it means more choice in dining selections with five fine dining venues and countless entertainment options.
Pacific Sun
Offering P&O's Classic Cruising option, the Pacific Sun presents a fantastic combination of spacious cabins, á la carte dining, dazzling entertainment and an array of spectacular South Pacific and Queensland destinations. Cruises depart from Brisbane and Auckland for trips of 7-21 night durations.
